Cyclone IV E devices are offered in core voltages of 1.0 and 1.2 V. Devices with a core voltage of 1.0 V have an ‘L’ prefix attached to the speed grade. The speed grades are indicated with a prefix associated with the operating temperature range; commercial with a “C” prefix, industrial with an “I” prefix, and automotive with an “A” prefix. Commercial devices are indicated as C6, C7, C8, C8L, or C9L per respective speed grade. Industrial devices are indicated as I7, I8, or I8L. Automotive devices are indicated as A7.

Cyclone IV E devices offer different speed grades based on their core voltage. For devices with a core voltage of 1.0 V, the speed grades available are C8L, C9L, and I8L. On the other hand, for devices with a core voltage of 1.2 V, the supported speed grades are C6, C7, C8, I7, and A7. These speed grades are specific to the commercial, industrial, extended industrial, and automotive grades of Cyclone IV E devices. Additionally, Cyclone IV GX devices offer different speed grades for commercial and industrial devices, with the commercial devices supporting C6, C7, C8, and the industrial devices supporting I7 speed grades. +1
